We have a few rules around here.
Copyright
Information wants to be free! You may freely redistribute and modify any content on this blog that is ours, so long as you provide attribution. You can provide attribution by doing two things: (1) have an appropriate citation or link back to the source material, and (2) send us an e-mail to let us know, using the contact page. Other people who include or derive from that work also have to do the same thing.
We also appreciate hearing about whenever you found something interesting or meaningful. Contact us here, or leave a comment on the appropriate page if applicable.
Disclaimer
"Any society that needs disclaimers has too many lawyers."
— Unattributed
This weblog is just for kicks, and the opinions expressed here represent our own and not those of our respective clients and employers.
From time to time we'll also change our mind on various topics, the inevitable and necessary consequence of having an open mind. Accordingly, we may also update posts with additional or more relevant information, or to correct errors.
"I owe my success to having listened respectfully to the very best advice, and then going away and doing the exact opposite."
— G.K. Chesterton
We'll sometimes author guides on how to accomplish something, or otherwise provide and make available advice and information that we feel is worth disseminating. You're welcome to follow these, but you should do so with the understanding that we can't take responsibility for any consequences that may result, and we disclaim all liability.
Of course, if you find yourself dazzled by our wit, charm, and helpfulness, we always appreciate a pat on the back or two. Drop us a line, or maybe a few bucks if it was especially helpful.
Privacy Policy
"When it comes to privacy and accountability, people demand the former for themselves and the latter for everyone else."
— David Brin
